REVIEW OF 2006

Semi-Finalists:

Bright, fresh, ethnic opener. A spanking start.
Meandering ballad, suffers from angst-ridden wailing.
It's little Eddie Munster or Nusa Derenda with facial hair!
Looks like a navvy on a dare!
Fast, frenetic, energetic and completely pointless!
Do men in Albania look like Luiz? Song goes nowhere.
Je t'adore. Tres catchy and tres irritating at the same time.
Simple, no gimmicks and this bloke knows how to sing!
She'll do her breast on the night but me no like.
Avez-vous un coconut? Monaco still stuck in days of old!
Britney goes Balkany but it just lacks a little something.
Maybe the odd muff dive might aid this borderline qualifier.
Didn't recognise him with his clothes on!
Fell asleep at the tattoo parlour!
Show us your love and we'll be your queens!
Oh Lordi, what's the betting Anneli Saaristo is Mr Lordi?
All tits and toothpaste. It won't be the Sanomi of 2006!
A bunch of schlager louts! All very pointless!
France, Spain & Andorra may save it from total embarassment!
Giving it some welly straight into the final!
Looks and sounds good. Bound to qualify surely.
Lovely Balkan ballad but Hari is less easy on the eye than Zeljko.
Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck! To the final methinks.

So my prediction for the ten to qualify to the final is:

I think the following countries may stand a chance too:

Pre-Qualified Finalists:

It's Children Kinders Enfants all grown up! Swiss cheese!
Me choka on mi boca. More Oh-Zone than O-Zone!
Even a gospel version ain't gonna get divine intervention!
Just because it's clever does not mean it's good!
Dancing elves surrounded by hundreds of fairies!
Duty fwee, duty fwee, duty fweeeee! Can't help lovin' this!
    You don't, you don't, you won't!
    Utterly fabulous. Yeeee-haaaaa! Potential winner!
Bright and perky but the whole thing just does not stand up.
What possessed him to add the falscetto bit in? Good idea at the time?
This leaves me a little cold and I think we may struggle to get into top 10!
This'll go huge. If it's a return to the ballad, this could be it!
The obligatory French chanson. Nice but will drift towards the bottom.
Trout-lipped Balkan beauty prepares for obligatory mid-table position.
